Hello, my name is Tait Johnson, (A.K.A. Hondaman). I started HON-MAN Auto Care from scratch as a mobile Honda repair business in 1998 after working for a Honda dealership for several years. In the year 2000, I stopped doing mobile service and moved into the building I still occupy today. I now have ten people on my team and most of my technicians are factory-trained, specifically on Hondas and Acuras.

Honesty and integrity are what I am known for, but I take the most pride in the transparency we practice at our shop. We don’t have specials or offer discounts, but rather follow the “everyday low prices” model. We always give advice on recommended services with “your” interest in mind rather than ours.

WHICH OIL CHANGE SHOULD I PICK: EXPRESS, EXPRESS PLUS OR SIGNATURE SERVICE?

It depends on you. If you get your tires rotated where you got them & can manage the replacements of your cabin filter/air filter/wiper blades/light bulbs & aren’t worried about other needs on the car because its newer, or you just prefer to not worry yourself with things until symptoms arise…then you can get away with an Express Service every time.

If you are primarily concerned with safety related items beyond the basic oil change & want us to rotate the tires if needed,..then an Express Plus Service is just the ticket for you. You can still pick this service if you get your tires rotated at tire shop…just tell us to not rotate them with the service.

If you want to let us handle all the basic maintenance needs for your car and be able to advise on the overall health of the vehicle…then pick the Signature Service. This is also a good pick for a first time customer that is looking to establish service with us.

What we recommend: Assuming we are the ones doing all your basic maintenance…Do them in order: Express, then Express Plus, then Signature. Then start over after that at the Express and cycle through again and again.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT I DID LAST TIME?

Check your Inbox. Search for emails from “HON-MAN AUTO CARE”. All of your invoice history should come up. We always email your invoices to you for this very reason.

WHEN IS YOUR LEAST BUSY TIME?

Good question! It seems to vary a bit each year, but October through December, maybe February are the least busy months. Aside from that, mornings and the end of the day are the most hectic at the shop. Middle of the week is maybe the least crazy overall. Its always best for us if you make an appointment before coming in, unless you just want to leave your car as long as needed. Send it or bring it in anytime if that is the case.
